FALSE, and refer to me, personally.

After over 30 years of breeding German Shepherd Dogs, we are taking
a break from breeding. We won’t be offering any German Shepherd
litters in 2007 and have no plans in place for 2008 at this time.
Check the website often for updates and the status of our planned
litters for the future.
We will continue to have one or two carefully
planned
Malinois litters each year, with our next litter
planned for early 2008.

Unless I've gone blind, and
unless my reading skills have suddenly disappeared, it looks like HONEST Ed LEERKOPF™ Frawley
is about to wreck the entire German Shepherd breed in one master stroke.
This is no less than a planned, reckless act of dog
breedicide.
(I'm allowed to invent words when I want to. Frawley does it
all the time.)
The implications of this disaster
will undoubtedly have worldwide effects for generations to come.
It's nearly impossible to
believe that HONEST Ed LEERKOPF™ Frawley is actually going to DO THIS.
Shut down production. Disconnect the power. Pull
the plug, turn off the lights. Close the factory doors to one and all.
Turn a living, breathing assembly line - an entity with a life of its own - into
fading memories, rusting metal, rotting wood, and peeling paint.

Consider the vast staff of
people - people who have dedicated their entire lives to Frawley's
world-known breeding program. Consider how they must feel - showing
up at work, only to find that work - as they've always known it - no longer exists.
Imagine this traumatic event from
a personal point of view .....
Open your heart, take a good
look, and think of raw human emotions .....
Row after row of empty breeding
cages, those very same cages that once held laughing, happy, untitled breeding
bitches, and thousands of joyful little balls of fluffy puppies. Imagine the
emptiness, the loneliness.
Imagine all those cages, with no
puppies to vomit, shit, and piss all over the floors, ceilings, walls, and themselves.
Imagine all the litters of 6-10 (or more) puppies that will no longer experience
the thrill, the joy, the excitement of awakening in their very own LEERKOPF™ cages.
Think of the staff - now forced
to apply for welfare, eat table scraps, and live in cardboard cartons.
Think of the thousands of dog
sport enthusiasts who will now do without, or be forced to settle for other
puppies.
If you can find your way to a
German/English translation, think of this: LEER means "empty". BURG
means "town" or "village".
I should state
publicly that I don't care if Frawley breeds 25,000 litters per year.
It's none of my business, it has nothing to do with me.
I've never owned and never will own one of his dogs. I'm just a
bystander, an observer to transpiring events.
I wish Frawley the best in all
his endeavors - selling video tapes, recipes, puppies, pooper scoopers - OR
- even
getting pregnant if that's what he wants to do. Whatever Frawley's
goals may be, I hope he attains them. But if he doesn't, I hope he keeps
right on trying, and trying, and trying.
One thing that concerns me is
the LEERKOPF™
Special Dominant
Dog Collar,
designed to strangle dogs until they're unconscious, as a helper hoists them off
the ground with a long line over a tree limb. (see

I
spent 21+ years of my life actively training dogs in the United States
and Germany, Holland, and Belgium. I've been fortunate to
train with some of the very best in the world. I've trained with
personal dogs, sport dogs, police dogs, and special forces dogs in Europe. I've
worked with some of the toughest, most aggressive dogs in the world -
dogs which have been used in kidnappings, airport, bank, and hostage crisis
situations, and in terrorist control, dogs which have been trained
to NEVER release a bite, they must be gagged off the criminal.
I've seen some mighty strong corrections.
I've seen use of force and discipline
that would shock 99% of the people in the
world.
I've seen dogs dominated in Germany, the
US, Holland, and Belgium.
I've seen handlers bitten dozens
of times, and handlers permanently disabled by their own dogs.
In all those years - I
have never, I have never witnessed, and I have never heard
of,
any dog, any where, at
any
time, being hung until
it is unconscious.
In my belief, which I'm sure is shared by
millions, LEERKOPF™ "training" is utterly,
completely, absolutely, and without any reservation - unacceptable.
No stories, no excuses, no attempted justifications. I refuse to
consider even one word. UNACCEPTABLE -under all circumstances, regardless of the
reason.
I've been attacked and severely bitten by dozens
of dogs during my career. I've been hospitalized several times
as a result. I was able to solve the problems and dominate the
dogs without
any form of cruelty. There are other, more productive
ways to dominate. Force is required, but it need not
be cruelty or animal abuse.
In my opinion, Ed LEERKOPF™ Frawley should
be criminally prosecuted if he "trains" as he publicly
states. The same applies to anyone who willfully strangles
a dog.
Being that I'm Steve Leigh,
I'm not one of
Ed LEERKOPF™ Frawley's
kindergarten puppets.
I'm a little CURIOUS about two things.
One - I wonder why Frawley, who
publicly advertises his puppies at $1800.00 each, and even more for males, would suddenly decide to reduce
his annual income by such a huge amount? This curiosity is based on Frawley's public bragging about producing ~20 litters per year.
Financially, if each litter resulted in 6 puppies for sale, the
numbers appear to be approximately $270,000.00 annually. That's over a quarter of a million dollars
a year!
Good 'ol LEERKOPF™
is gonna have to sell a whole bunch of strangulation collars to offset that!
"Take a break"?
C'mon - give me a break. I think my curiosity is about average.
Two - I wonder if there may be
anything more to this than "take a break"? Is it remotely possible that PETA,
state or local agencies, animal control, or a different, unknown agency could
have something to do with Frawley's "decision"?

That's why I'm not SAYING
that Frawley is leaving something out. I AM saying that I'm curious.
I AM saying I've found Frawley to be less than accurate and honest in the past,
on many occasions. I'm also saying I have NO IDEA if this is another
repetition of Frawley's penchant for his own version of accuracy and truth. I just don't
know, and I may never know. I don't care very much, either, I'm just
curious.
