Leslie Motor Rebuild

 

ProKeys completely rebuilds and adjusts upper and lower, fast and slow motor assemblies for Leslies.

Although no Leslie motors are totally soundless in operation, our rebuilds approach that level of quietness.
ProKeys Leslies have been used on many major recording sessions, where motor noise is a critical factor.

Our rebuilds include complete disassembly, rust removal, chemical deoil, and automotive paint for the slow and fast motors and the mounting brackets.  Shock absorbing grommets are replaced if needed.

During reassembly, all springs, washers, and thrust bearings are cleaned or replaced, in addition to replacing the butyl O-ring drive tire.  All parts necessary to restore the motors to perfect operating function are included.  All motor bearings are also deep chemical cleaned and lubricated the right way, with the right oil.

After reassembly, each motor stack is individually tweaked on the test bench for proper slow motor engagement and disengagement.  When we're done, it's done right!
